What our client's say about us:

PanPac Logo

"Fulcrum supported PanPac on a novel automation project to recondition contaminated plastic strapping valued at over $100k. They took the time to fully understand the problem and our preferred approaches, then clearly defined the project scope and deliverables.

Fulcrum published our brief to their network of automation and technology partners, resulting in three strong expressions of interest. After a few short online meetings to address clarifying questions, we received three well-developed proposals. Fulcrum helped us evaluate each one, identifying key differences, areas for clarification, and benefits we hadn’t initially considered. This guidance allowed us to confidently and quickly select the right partner.

Without Fulcrum’s support, this project may never have gone ahead, potentially leading to lost inventory and unnecessary environmental impact. Although we have not yet taken the project to execution stage, the process thus far has been smooth, transparent, and highly effective. We would strongly recommend Frank and the Fulcrum team to any business exploring custom automation solutions."

Projects & Industries

An overview of some of our recent projects.

Filling line

Automated Bottle Feeding

A Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) client identified a bottleneck at the infeed of their filling line. Using our Bronze package, we scoped the project, coordinated all necessary meetings and site visits, and debriefed them on the responses received.

Rubbish tip

Automated Strapping Cleaning

Contaminated strapping worth over $100k was being left unavailable for use on-site with a large primary processing client. We verified a budget and achieved three high-quality responses under budget to reprocess the strapping, saving over $35k in capital and avoiding significant environmental and financial costs of disposal.

Automation Architecture

Working with a large metal processing company, we helped scope a project to upgrade and modernize their extensive automation architecture across SCADA, PLC, and field devices. They received a range of competitive responses that aligned with a wider MES and ERP upgrade to enhance their digital transformation and data maturity.

Health & Safety Upgrades

We supported a multinational organization in upgrading legacy equipment to meet New Zealand safety standards, securing the New Zealand supply chain for the coming years. This project involved assisting an overseas procurement team with no exposure to the Australasian market while still meeting their stringent procurement policies.

Labeling a box

Bespoke Labeling Equipment

Our client had a unique product package that was being manually labeled by two staff members for over four hours per day. The unique size, shape, and consistency of the product made standard labeling equipment unsuitable. We articulated a detailed, outcomes-focused scope alongside the client's project manager, breaking the process down into design and manufacture stages to ensure competitive and comparable proposals.
