Demystifying MES in New Zealand

  1. Purpose

This agreement outlines the terms under which MES vendors participate in a publicly available document aimed at demystifying MES for New Zealand manufacturers. The document is sponsored by Callaghan Innovation and will provide an independent review of MES solutions in the New Zealand market.

  1. Participation Requirements

Vendors must:

Confirm their participation by the specified deadline.

Submit required information, including technical specifications, APIs, hosting architecture, product screenshots, client references, and a selection of industries they specialize in.

Attend an interview and provide contact details for a case study client.

Review and provide feedback on the sections related to their MES before final publication.

Agree to be interviewed on general MES adoption best practices, with recordings and transcripts used to generate additional content in the final document.

Allow direct interviews with their chosen case study client.

  1. Confidentiality & Data Usage

Vendors must explicitly specify if any information they provide is confidential and should not be included in the document.

Vendors will not have the option to redact or restrict specific details but may choose to withdraw from participation after reviewing the draft document.

The final document will be publicly available for free download and will not be monetized or sponsored beyond government funding.

  1. Accuracy & Liability

Vendors are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy and veracity of the information they provide.

Callaghan Innovation retains full editorial control over the document’s content and presentation.

Vendors must agree to be quoted or paraphrased based on their interview responses.

  1. Eligibility Criteria To participate, vendors must:

Have an MES product deployed and operational in New Zealand.

Have the capability to support their solution within New Zealand.

Hold the legal rights to operate in New Zealand.

  1. Distribution & Branding

The document will be hosted online for free download.

Vendors are expected to participate in its distribution.

Each vendor’s logo will be included on the page(s) relevant to their product.

  1. Opt-Out & Withdrawal

Vendors may request removal from the document after agreeing to participate, provided the request is made before final publication.

Once published, no further changes or removals will be possible.

By agreeing on the survey, the vendor agrees to the terms outlined in this agreement and commits to participating in the MES review process.
