Optimising Business Systems with Integration & Development
Our customer was aware that they were not using their current information systems as well as they could. We conducted a Systems Review of their business to understand and document current systems and processes. From that we produced a set of Process Diagrams and a Systems Chart that clearly showed their current state. Systems improvements were identified and documented in a discussion document. Key benefits for the customer included: - Identification of changes to their current ERP system to improve integration between processes and reduce reliance on spreadsheets - Implementation of a SharePoint site for HSE and Training management - Implementation of a numbering system and Document Management System for Controlled Documents - A focus on best practice use of a new CRM system We were able to apply our experience in manufacturing, systems, and software to focus efforts on improvements to current systems without the need to replace key systems in the business.
